We often watch all those cooking shows on cable featuring the kitchens of Martha Stewart or Rachel Ray. Most of the time we end up drooling over how well made their on-screen kitchens look like. On TV they look like a long island in the center of the kitchen where these kitchen goddesses demonstrate how they prepare the ingredients for a sumptuous meal. You don’t see it but there are cabinets beneath that marble countertop where they conveniently keep all their kitchen implements. The countertops have tabletop stoves so they could cook the dish while you sit on the sidelines of the island and salivate. See how Martha or Rachel can instantly serve the meal right after they cook it? Their guests sit conveniently on the side of the counter and finish off the meal right after it is served off the stove.
